   PTO Meeting Date

There will be a PTO meeting held on October 19, 2009 at 6:30pm, immediately following the Parent/Teacher Conferences. All parents are encouraged to attend. PTO gives parents a voice and an opportunity to become a part in what is happening at your school. For those of you that aren't aware of what the PTO does for the school this would be a good opportunity for you to stop by and ask any questions, make any suggestions or discuss concerns about our school. The class with the most parents and teacher attending the meeting will be awarded $25.00 to be used for the class. Please come out and support you child's/children's class and teacher.

   Boxtops for Education

Parents, as most of you know, we are always reminding you in the Gator Gazette that we can use boxtops for our school. The boxtops that you send in are worth 10 cents each and they do add up quickly, but there is also a website that you can go on to help out even more with the boxtops drive. All you have to do is go to www.boxtops4education.com and register. When you register you will be able to enter drawings, receive recipes and learn how you can earn even more money for our school when you shop online at participating stores. You can also track how much our school has earned from boxtops this year . This is a way that we can all help out at school since we all use products each day that we could clip the boxtops from. The monies that we receive from these boxtops help to pay for some of the activities that the children get to enjoy, such as the Snakes Alive and Theatre WV. Please, take a few minutes and see how you can help.
