RE:        Food service billing procedures

 

 

A new system for food service billing has been adopted by Ritchie County Schools.  We are now partnering with City National Bank, Cross Lanes, WV.  It is our intent to  be more accurate and efficient in our billing service for parents and families.

 

City National Bank affords many features that will enhance our accounts.   

·         A feature that will appeal to many families is ACH (Automatic Clearing House).  This feature will allow you to choose a date and have payments made automatically from the checking account of your choice.  You only need to provide a voided deposit slip from a current account.

·         On line banking is a feature available to families.  Debit transactions will be permitted.  Detailed information about this feature will appear on the back of each bill.

·         Bills will be mailed to your home. Payment due dates remain the 15th day of the next month.  A window envelope will be provided with the correct mailing address for your convenient return with each bill.

·         City National will produce and mail invoices and statements directly to you.  In turn, you will return your payments in the window envelope to:

While most of the changes will occur for Ritchie County Schools, parents and employees will notice a few differences.  Unfortunately, the data system, WVEIS, that allows centralized production of billing does not support a prepay feature.  Therefore, we will not be able to offer the prepay discount at the current time.  If that capability is developed we will reinstate this option.
